Anyone play an instrument, play in a band? What style?
I play rhythm guitar like Malcolm young. All my bands have been '2 guitar' bands. (I'm not great at playing solos).
I've been playing for 18 years and my first gigging band was around 1990. We played 80's Heavy Metal like Judas Priest, AC/DC, Sabbath, Dangerous Toys, Dio, etc. That lasted 2 years.
For a year after that I played in a garage 'party' band for friends and we played college parties. Mostly 80's metal.
In 1994 I was in a classic rock band playing all sorts of 60's, 70's, and 80's rock. We gigged for 3 years and recorded an original studio CD before dis-banding in 1996 because of 'drummer' and 'bassist' personal issues that couldn't be resolved.
I've not played in a band since. I record cover songs at home in my spare time.
